How long to put foot down

I have had my sebae anemone for 2 weeks now and it still hasn't planted its foot anywhere. I have been keeping him on the sandbed and I have only moved him once. How long does it usually take for it to stay put or is it normal that it is taking this long.

It depends on the anemone they seem to all be different I could tell you my BTA that i bought 2 weeks back has now finally settled in exactly were i first put it but ithas moved around on an adventure behind my rockwork and back out again now one of my group of 5 black clowns has taken up residence it seems to be very happy and hopefully will stay put. I know people who have anemones that wander for mounths. Its a bit worrying that he has not got his foot attached yet. what is the colour of the anemone like? White usally indicates they are unhappy with light / water conditions.

It's not white at all, no signs of bleaching. The tips are a very deep purple and blue. It's rather large to about 10-11 inches in diameter.

Has it taken anyone else awhile for their anemone to stay and attach itself.
