How long will this clownfish continue to attack smaller one?

Hello everyone. I've had my two clownfish for three weeks now. The larger one and smaller one bickered every once in awhile for the past few weeks, but just recently (within the past 3 days), it has started getting a lot worse. The larger one literally chases the smaller one every single time she sees him. He is forced to hang out in the top corner of the tank until he is attacked again, then rinse and repeat. The smaller one is still eating fine, but I was wondering how long I should allow this to go on?

The larger one will corner him then start doing that sideways seizure thing, but the smaller one never really does it back. How long should I let this continue? I read that this is fairly normal, but it's just tough to watch the little guy cower in the corner all day. Thanks for any help.

In due time. The larger one is turning into a female. Typical clownfish behavior and nothing to worry about. No, the larger one will not kill the smaller one.

They're both Ocellaris clowns. I'm glad it's typical. I really really feel for the poor guy. I take the lives of these animals extremely seriously, as I feel anyone in this hobby should. I am, after-all, his caretaker in this unnatural environment I have him living in. She sure isn't acting very lady-like for turning into a female.
