How Long?

If you had a new lighting fixture die, how long would you be comfortable leaving your aquarium dark?

Fish only? Corals? If so, what kind?

Fish and coral, mostly sps some zoanthids and a clam
couple of blasstomussa and acans

get a light ASAP, That simple.

I'd try real hard to get some lighting going within a week. Longer than 2 weeks is generally disaster for many of the corals.

I have a small mixed reef. My light died about 2 weeks ago and the tank was in the dark for 5 days. I would not want to go past 7 days.

I wouldn't go any longer than 5 days or so without some kind of lighting source.
