How loud is your Tunze 6025 ?

I bought Tunze 6025 two weeks ago and this pump is very loud. I also have Tunze Stream 6100 and Tunze 6025 is 10 timer louder.

Is this normal for Tunze 6025 ?

check the shaft it might me loose or broken. u shouldn't be able to hear it unless you put your ear right up to the glass

hi, i had the same problem. i soon found out that the impeller magnet was rusted to the shaft. this caused the shaft to spin as well. i took the impeller off the shaft and scraped the rust off with a knife. then, i pushed the shaft in all the way(which it wasnt when i recieved it) and voila...no more noise.

Mine was only loud the first day or so.

I purchased 2 6025s. One was quite and one was was not. Roger sent me a new one for the loud one. Both okay now.

If it is noisy, something is wrong, they may not be as quiet as the 6100 but it should be pretty close.
