how many 6100's

I have a 315g tank with a lot of rock(600lbs). I going to order the stream ts24 kit. Will two 6100's be enough flow for this size tank? Or should I consider a third 6100?
I will be keeping mainly sps.

This will depend a bit on demensions and return flow- I think you will be in good shape in most cicumstances but give me the dimensions and I will see if I can't help further.

Thanks for getting back to me. The tanks is 28wx36hx72l. I have only a mag 7 for a return from my sump. I currently have 2 mag 24s on a closed loop and 2 maxi 1200 on a wavemaker.

The two pumps will cover the tank quite well. I would get the TS24 and install it and then make your own assessment but I think in all likelihood you will not even have to run both pumps at all times- you could use tide mode and alternate. I would put the money toward a nice air cooled return pump like an Iwaki or GRI. In all likelihood a slightly more powerful return will get you everything you need, the air cooled pump will be more reliable and eliminate alot of the heat transfer.
