How many Anms can you keep

I have a 45 gallon cube and I was wondering what is the compatibility of anms in a tank that small.

How many can you keep in one tank?
Is it safe to have them in a small tank with other fish?

I guess it all depends on the nems. My sebae rests against my haddon's and they are happy, my lta was against my ritteri before I move the ritteri up higher in the tank and they were fine, my bta is by himself so I can't say for them. As for other fish, if they are stupid enough to wander into a nem then most times nature will take its course and you wouldn't have to worry about feeding your nem for awhile.

I'm going to agree , keeping multiple nems is fine. My gig eats snails , shrimps, and even ate a mandarin, I didn't need to work about feeding cope pods. My 2 bta's only eat what I feed same with my h malu. All in the same nano tank

Usually there are some issues, Allelopathy (chem warfare) among different species, and not all nems have the same needs as far as flow and light, or substrate/rock.
Personally in a 45g I would only keep one host nem as most get big, or I would keep multiple of same species and only clowns as you won't have much swim space for other fish.
Sometimes different species play nice together but more often they don't.

I personally have kept multiple species of Nems successfully. That being said, when I say multiple I mean about 3 different type at a time. All were happy in a 60g cube with multiple offspring. I find it best if you have an Abundance of Clowns, but not to the point where it would be hazardous to them or your system.

I have 12 RBTAs ranging in size from 1" to 10", most are 8" or larger, all in a 40B. I started with 2 and they're just happy and keep splitting :bounce3:

I have about 20 rock anemones, 1"-3", in the same tank and I don't have any issues.

I do run carbon a few days a month.
