How many drain lines?

Hey everyone. I had a 125 tank that busted on me. I had 2 x 1 1/2" drain lines going to it. It thought after it may have been too much and it may have. Well I am doing another tank and its a 250 gallon. Should I remain with the 2 x 1 1/2" drain or go with 3 now. I already drilled 2 of them out. Center overflow.

My advice will always be to drill a third hole and install the BeanAnimal drain. It is as silent as it gets.

+1 on the beananimal since your tank is 250 gallon.
