In my qt I have a tiny blue tang, tiny convict tang, a copperband, and 6 firefish gobies (3reg and 3 purple) they will be going into the display in 2 weeks if all is ok. I do not tolerate any hair algea and have a VERY large snail cleanup crew. Unknown number now but around 100 to 140. No registering nitratesor phosphates.

Seems I am not a rebel after all. I figured I was one of the few who bucked the books and many of the experts. It is obvious that corals need food wherever they can get it. I just couldn't make sense out of a nutrient poor system.

IMHO heavy feeding in a new tank is a recipe for disaster, wait at least a year before you try it unless you have very very good export capabilities.

I am very inspired by the tanks here.
