how many lyretails can i have?

I have a 130g tank. I see that Lyretails needs a minimum of a 125g tank in order to be content. I see it says that they do best in schools...........How many can be in a 130g tank at once?

You can add as many as you want, likely 4 or 5, but the do not school. The do form a loose shoal.
You do need to feed them often as everybody said. In my tank, I only feed twice a day and it was not enough. What I find different from general knowledge is that it is the male that got stressed more than the female. He spend too much time courting and chasing the female that he did not eat enough. In my 320 DT, it is the male that got sick and died. The next female then change sex and got stressed and follow him to the reef in the sky. Adding 5 and ended up with one, the smallest female in 8 months. She eventually died. I don't do anthias anymore.

Agree with the above. They can be finicky eaters and not too hardy. All depends though. I tried a male and 2 females 2x in my 80 gallon with no success after a few months. Your should be able to keep a male and 3-5 females in that size depending what else is in there. Goof luck!
