How many Neons??

would 5-6 neons be ok in a 4' 70 gallon?

i have two but want to add three more. perfect cleaner fish.

I have been in love with neons since I came across a cleaning station while snorkelling in Cuba 2 years ago.

It was the neatest thing I ever saw snorkelling!

I would say it should be fine if you get them all from the same source. Go for the tank bred ones as they should be more tolerable of each other.

I have two that were a pair until I had to treat the one and now they play chase every once in a while in my 24 inch cube

The two I have are tank bred and came from a tank packed with them. The next three are coming direct from a breeder in town.

So yup. All tank bred.

I will have to disagree with this, neons will normally fight with each other until their is one left or a bonded pair, if you have a happy pair living together, I would recommend that you be happy with what you have and dont ruin it
