How Many Watts

I want some advice on if 6.75 watts per gallon is too much light for a 300 gallon tank I have 4- 400w MH and 420watts of pc with white and actinic bulbs please give me some advice I'm new to the hobby and setting up a 300 gallon reef tank.

watts per gallon is not the best rule.

tank length, how wide, and how tall is the best way

my tank is 96" long and 24" wide and 30" deep

I would say yes you have enough light. If you want to go with acros near the bottom I would go with 10k's but if you want a mixed reef you could do just about any bulb you wanted.

I like the 14000k and the 20000k I plan on running 2 of each how will that look?

so what would you recommend? I have not got bulbs yet just got MH last friday and PC's will be here this week so I'm on the lookout for bulbs

Phoenix 14,000K MH with Atinic PC supplements, this should give your somewhere between 14,000K to 20,000K look, but par value on the Phoenix bulb is excellent.
