how mean are Sohal tangs?

I just saved a beautiful sohal tang which was ich infested and is now 4 days in qt doing awsome. My ? Is how mean are they I have a yellow tang 5" the sohal is 3"

They're quite mean once they get big. They're not always that way, but I've seen a couple completely take over even large aquariums and harass to death most new additions. What size tank is this?

Very mean. Will, as Peter says, take over a tank. By the way their mean behavior is not only confined to new arrivals.

I agree with both above statements. There is a good chance that it might become aggressive but there is a chance it wont. I have a seen a sohal about 7-8 in in a 180 and a very model citizen.

You may think they are model citizens but thats because nobody will mess with them but when they do, they get put in their place.

They are beautiful Tangs and very interesting. They have such a personality. If you buy one as a juvenile it is really interesting to watch them grow.
