How much bicarbonate do we need to add to fix the ocean?

Just curious if any science gurus could do the math on what we would need to fix the current ocean acidification from CO2 as if it were a home aquarium.

However many tons it comes out to be, I recommend that you not add it all at once, and in to an area of high flow.

Good one TB. My reading in the chemistry forum tells me it's all about the C02 in the water. The barges of soda ash would only have a temporary effect.
