How much damage can a carpet do to Zoas?

My prized zoas are all over my tank, if my carpet touched them, are they gonners for sure?

What has been your experience with zoas and anemones?

I just read over on wet-web that zoas would win in a battle with a BTA. Not sure about a catpet.

The carpet won't kill the zoas right away, but it will over a week or so.
If you remove the carpet from the area, the zoas will usually bounce back.
