how much do DTs Oyster eggs cost?

I just bought some today and was wondering if $20 for 30mL was typical or if I got gyped. Seems pretty pricey since that amount will only last about a month.

That's how much I paid for mine. My tank is only a 40 breeder so it last me about three months. I only feed the tank about 3x a week.

not to steal the thread, but what's the big difference between phyto and the oyster eggs that DT's sells?

where'd you get it at? curuious if you got it at a LFS or online since I am near you.
I got mine at coralville bay in coralville. There were only 2 left and they both had sticky stuff spilled all over them :S They're in the freezer with all the frozen food. Sea of marvels just down the road probably has them too but I forgot to check when I was there.

From what I read, phyto doesn't do much for the corals, only clams and featherdusters/gorgonians.

i'll keep that in mind, I'm almost out of DT's phyto and need to restock

maybe I'll get both - I live 10 mins from both sea of marvels and coraville bay

thanks!

If that store is in Iowa there may be a reason for the very low price. My distributor in Kansas City, All Star Pet Supply has gone out of business. The owner stocked up from all his vendors right before he announced that he was closing to the stores. He did not make an announcement to his vendors though. I talked to the owner of All Star who told me that he is selling off what he has to pay off his secured loan. The oyster Eggs do sell normally for a price in the 20 + $ range for 30ml. [violation]
