How much flow *in* (not through) display refugium?

Just curious how much circulation other people have in their display fuges? Do you keep it fairly calm or mix it up?

I'd say enough to keep the plants moving, but not so much that they get ripped free.

I'm going with a pair of MJ600s blowing lengthwise down a 40B set up peninsula-style. I may have to upgrade it but I'll deal with it when the time comes.
