How much flow?

Hi all I currently have one vortech MP40ESW. Going to be setting up a 48x24x18 rimless set up with 1/2" thick glass. I tried using the flow calculator on ecotech website. I previously was told use two but according to their site it looks as if two is too much. Going to be a sps dominant set up. Any recommendations would help thanks fellow reefers.

I would use 2 pumps in your tank. Flow in just one direction isn't the best plan.

Since the flow on the MP 40's is adjustable, you don't have to run them at full blast.
