now ur monthly maintence... salt for water changes, water, food, etc



i spent about 1k for tank, corals about 300, fish about 150.

every 2 months its about 25 for salt and about 25 gallons at 25 cents/gal. i do 2 5-gallon waterchanges a month on a 30 gal and 1-2 gallon on the 12 gal aquapod. so far maybe i've spent 2k... but it seems as if i've spent less. i haggle almost everything i buy, complain over like a 5 dollar price difference, yet when i see corals and fish i dont see price... does that happen to you guys??

I am thinking a nice tank of $1 neons and some other freshwater community fish might be a big cost savings.

it's not that bad, i've heard other spending between 5-10K on their tank,
