What PAR range should be fine for an LTA? Mine seems to be doing fine but I just picked up the clubs PAR meter and I want to be shure... 50-100 good?

Well with how much we focus on par not many people have ever taken par readings by a per organism bases. Be interesting those who have had success would actually take par readings by their specimens. But there are other factors and thats duration of that par.

Well since most lta's and carpets are on the sand and we shoot for a 50-100 PAR on the sand, I am assuming it is OK...

50 to 100 par is a wide range? Most carpets require more light than a lta but honestly I am not sure were lta's come from. Some Carpets come from very shallow water. Now it also depends on what we are calling carpets.

When I keep magnificas, gigantas or Haddon's, crispas and malu's I shoot for higher light. Be kind of cool if some people took different par readings for their carpet anemones.

Well I am just going off some basic ranges offered up by Dr. Sanjay Joshi. One of which is a PAR range for the sand bed is 50-100 PAR.
