How much to feed the clowns

I have 2 Ocellaris Clowns. Of course a bit of a size difference, but lets say about 1.25" each. maybe 1.5" each.

Every time I walk by the tank they act hungry. Heck I put a test tube in and get some water they are looking for food.

Now, since I've not had clowns before- Are they hungry or curious? I feed them about half a cube of ocean nutrition food/day (1/4 day 1/4 night) Generally they stop chasing the food right before its gone.

They are the only fish in the tank. so nobody else eats it from them.

Should I feed them more often? or more or have some sort of "snack" out there for them?

I'm sure the question sounds moronic to some, but want to know the answer from clown pros.

There's a good thread with links to more info in this forum, it's called clownfish and anemones FAQs. That gave me an answer to my hungry percula clown, he's good and fat now

I use a plastic pipette to feed my clowns. They will eat right out ot the pipette until they are full and will also eat again in 15 minutes. Feed them lots and they will spawn frequently. You need to keep the water clean however.
I keep a pair of Onyx and feed them dry flakes several times per day at my office. They spawn every 2 weeks or so.

What do you feed out of the pipette?

Acemow- I read the FAQ, but was looking for more individualized experiences as well. I should have made that more clear.

As in- do you constantly swap food, just go until bored? Different food different times? altered for spawning? ya know your experiences and schedules

I think you are feeding them on the heavy side. Which is ok I feed alot too. As long as you keep up with your water changes. Its nice to have fat fish :) I would and do change it up and feed a variety of different foods.
