I was just curious how often bangaii breed. I pulled a baby out of my tank about a month and a half ago then today just pulled about 20more out. At this rate I will have 100 by x-mas haha
i got lucky i bought three of them as very small babies (much smaller than I normally would have bought) then watched them grow for a few months then once they paired of I pulled the third one out and gave it to a friend
when i bought them I would say they were 3/4 of a inch I got them hmm almost a year and a half ago just before the OC opened now they are about2.5 in or so. to be honest I have had great luck with feeding cyclopeze. not to mention they are in a very high nutrient tank so I am sure there are plenty of rotifers and pods there. as its mainly for my sea apple and I feed phyto allot
when they are released i net them and put them into the other tank then cyclopeze and obviously whatever is in the tank these guys are pretty big not like clowns
i am 100% sure there are rotifers in that tank as I said I feed phyto heavy in that tank for the sea apple but I dont see a need to breed anything specific. But this is only my second time and the first one was during a tank swap and I was only able to grab one out but it lived so i am 1 for 1 we will see how these guys go. i just fed the tank some mysis with cyclopeze and they actually attacked it like sharks
