How often do u feed ur sps?

im an addict lol
Just curious how often everyone feeds sps corals and if u notice a big difference?

I started feeding rods a few time and noticed a difference then following week I started coral vitalizer and noticed even bigger difference but no more rods. Then following week I added amino acids and noticed even bigger difference.

I am going to keep using coral vitalizer and amino acids. I was just wondering about adding a sps spot feed every week or so too? More often less often?

I feed twice a week live bbs and yes it makes a difference.

Yes, baby brine shrimp. For a good while I fed rotifers, after that I tried baby brine shrimp and it worked. Being much easier to hatch bbs than to grow rotifers, I switched to bbs.

I feed Reef Energy nightly and see better PE on Acros, Montis, and polyps. Plus it makes for a terrific light show. :)

I just started with reef energy a and b just over a week ago and noticed an improvement in color in most of my coral.

Also my duncans and one colony of acans hadnt opened in 5 days and I was starting to think I was gonna lose them despite perfect parameters. After two days of reef energy they suddenly opened 80%. After 4 days they were back to normal. Maybe coincidence but there were no other changes made.

I now use it every other day in the am

The reason I go for live food is: as long as it is alive, does not decay and pollute the tank. Dead food on the other hand gives you more convenience, but it starts to decay the moment you dump it in.
