Hi guys,
I'm currently feeding my BTA's once a week but I'm not seeing any growth, I wanted to try and get an average of how many times a week/month you feed and alter accordingly.

cheers

Back when I had BTAs, I would feed them about once a month, and the last one I sold off was about 15" across.

Todd, when you first get the nem do you geed it often and then ween it off to once a month, or do you start from there?
My other question is do you ask the LFS what their feeding schedule for the nem was?
I value your advice and I thank you in advance :)

Never... but they seem top grow anyway.

Why is it that when you want something out of your tank it simply won't die?
Foot is right in a hole in a rock at the bottom of a pile. Tried ice, powerheads aimed at it. Now I just molest him every few days. I just poke him with the feeding stick. figure that after a while he will start to get smaller and smaller as he uses his mass to repair himslef. Also keeps him out of the light so he can't grow any more.

I pretty much start off feeding that way. Though if it is a smaller anemone I might feed a bit more in the beginning, but even then it would only be once a week. And I try hard (( and sometimes fail )) not to feed them the first week that I have them -- to give them time to fully settle in, it takes energy to digest food --- I don't want to risk any uneaten food being inside the anemone.
