I'm just asking, do you really believe that in nature these fish eat their full belly everyday.?

MrTuskfish has said this before, and I completely agree with it. There are many more underfed fish than overfed fish in captivity. If you ever get a chance go diving and see what fish look like in the wild. Unless they aren't healthy for any reason, they are fat and that can only be accomplished if they get their fill. Skinny fish are ones that are losing at the game that nature plays, natural selection.

You mentioned you want anthias. Lyretails, likely the hardiest species, form large groups in the open water. They swim in place (matching the speed of the current) and grab any food that is passing by in the water column, of which there is far more of in the ocean than in a tank.

Your logic is very compelling, as for are tanks, the reason i say we're over feeding is maybe the way we're feeding ; maybe innapropriate to the fish and thats why they're skinny, and malnourished. Dumping the same food 4 times day maybe not the solution some do it right and that what i'm trying to find out. The best way some have very interesting routine if you read them , its very interesting and i've learn a lot just reading them, on this thread. Thanks for your input its also a good point.
