How often should you change phosban?

I have a TLF phosban reactor, and I was trying to get a feel for how often you should change the phosban.

I know it says it will handle a 150 gallons for several months, but as with everything its effectiveness is usually overstated.

Would like to here what other reefers are doing.

I change my GFO whenever I get a measurable phosphate reading from the output of the reactor.

I hear the only real way to measure phosphates is a Hanna meter, the common opinion seems to be that the test kits are crap.

Thats why I was think every 60 days should keep me with fresh media. By the way they sell the media in bulk at twopartsolutions.com.
