how ofter can i do FW dips?

i have a 6 inch crocea that is in the finial stages of pinched mantle. fresh water dips weekly have only had a effect of a few hours. can i move the dips up more often? what is the shortest period i should wait, can i do them daily? the other 4 clams respond to the dips and get better for 4 days but the one i think will die soon. and yes i am running carbon

i wouldnt do it more then every other day. how are you running the carbon? how much are you using and how large is the tank/sump?

125 tank, 40 gallon sump and i am running carbon in a hot magnum and also in a sock in the sump baffles, i am changing the carbon every other day
