How old is your oldest clown?

Meg,
My Ocellaris Clown is at least 25 years +. I got her when my son was born, as that's when I set up the tank (Not my first marine tank) ... Lots of home time with a baby in the house ; )
She lives in a 55 gal reef and lays an egg nest every 28 days. Still going strong!

I've had my Maroon female for about 10 years, so she's at least that old, and her mate I've had for about 7 or 8 years. They've been through many moves and some hardships, but they are very happy and healthy today :)

I got my ocellaris as a tank raised junevile in May 1998. The store told me that the fihs in that tank were about 6 months old. So my Nemo is 17. Funny how the first thing people say when they see the tank is "hey - there's Nemo!" I finally gave up and I call him Nemo too.

I think it is crazy that your clownfish is the same age as me.

Wow. That's amazing. Do you have any pictures of this beauty?

I just lost a gold stripe maroon that was 10 yrs old, I kept him from one of the batches of babies from my breeding pair. Both the parents (who died a few months after the babies were born) and the "baby" were killed due to heater malfunctions.

I have my tomato clown for over 14 years. She was by herself for 10 years. Finally paired her 4 years ago and has been laying eggs every two-three weeks ever since. Pretty cool.
I stunted it's growth since the first 7 years were in a 10 gal hex. I upgraded but never grew much. Well compared to the huge tomatoes I seen

I had a mated Perc pair for 10 yrs. They bred quite a bit. Then one day after 10 yrs the female started picking on the male (after all that time). Eventually killed him. Never could believe it.....I guess it was time for a divorce.

No, was on the bare bottom tank with live rock sitting on egg crate by then....:deadhorse::deadhorse::deadhorse:
Started out with water dripping thru trays of gravel...5 years before...
Albert Thiel and the old Fama mag articles kept me going all sorts of directions.....

My gold stripe maroon clown is 9 yrs old. Seems over the past couple years it's gold bands have faded a lot.

mine pair of clowns wyoming white is what get me into the hobby. I got them for 2 years and still going strong. but one of my friend got a clarky for 14 years. he is huge as 3 fingers and every he eats, the whole cube of mysis shrimp

I have a maroon that has been with me for 2 years and in the same tank for 5-6. (I bought the tank and he came with). He's still on the smaller end of maroons I've seen at only about 2.5-3 inches but eats like a pig and barely lets anyone else get food.
