My oldest fish is 3years and 3months, my Maroon Clown and a Yellow Tang just now 3years. I had a marine aquarium in the 80s but was not able to keep them even a year before they died.

I'm happy to say I still have the 1st fish we ever bought, a red flame hawk. The tank was set up in Feb. 03 and it was added 2 wks after the lfs. said the tank had cycled.

My LMB.....he just died the other day at 3 1/2... Cootiebug we set up our tanks in the same month and year.

well you and the article has changed my thinking on clownfish. i thought they would live maximum 6-8 years..

Someone told me, but I'm not sure if I believe it, that Martin Moe's first tank bred clownfish are still alive at a meuseam somewhere(I think they told me Smithsonian). Does anybody know if this is true or just a bunch of bull? Clownfish can easily live and spawn for over 20 years.
