I acclimated a group of anthias to my QT this morning. They are all showing signs of internal parasites. (white stringy poop) How long before i should start prazi? do i need to wait until they are eating first?
thanks

I've used this med on all new fish for years, its very easy on the fish; IMO. I always wait until the fish settle into QT and are eating first. I don't think starting Prazi right away would hurt anything, especially with fish that often take a while to eat....like your Anthias. I'm not convinced that the poop appearance is a definite sign of internal parasites; but treating with prazipro is always a good idea, IMO.

sounds good. i may wait until they are eating to start it, unless they start to seem stressed. and yes i agree, it may be nothing at all. still going to treat with prazi and cupramine (although i am still torn between cupramine and QS)...
