Just wondering how rare these are supposed to be. I have two! ones 5-6in that is gold with bright blue spots. the other is 3in with baby blue spots. has anyone else encountered this mutation? thanks in advance.

The blue spotted one comes from Solomon Islands.

It usualy comes with Blue Rim only, but if you happen to be first in a shipment of those clams, you can pick up few that have also blue spots besides the blue rim.

Hey Mr. Aqua, blue spotted squammys are pretty common clams. An all blue squamosa on the other hand is quite rare.

That clam is not for sale. Its a broodstock clam at our farm in the Marshall Islands. Its good size, maybe 14". Those arent full size laundry baskets.
