How should I be feeding my Anemone?

How should I be feeding my Heteractis-Crispa anemone? I have tried feeding it a very small pieces of fresh scallops by putting it in its tentacles. He never seems to scoop it up before a fish grabs it. I also have been adding REEF Zoo Plankton liquid coral food to the water. The fish also seem to be eating this as soon as I put it in. Should I be trying to squirt this right into the centre of the anemone? It looks good and healthy but want to make sure it is getting nutrition it needs.

Never squirt anything at or insert into an anemones mouth.

It captures food that is floating in the water column, or falls on it.

It gets the biggest of its nutrition from the light, but I still feed mine shrimp and scallops.
