How should I be feeding my Anemone?

How should I be feeding my Heteractis-Crispa anemone? I have tried feeding it a very small pieces of fresh scallops by putting it in its tentacles. He never seems to scoop it up before a fish grabs it. I also have been adding REEF Zoo Plankton liquid coral food to the water. The fish also seem to be eating this as soon as I put it in. Should I be trying to squirt this right into the centre of the anemone? It looks good and healthy but want to make sure it is getting nutrition it needs. I should mention that my clownfish has hosted it as well.

Feed your fish first. When they are busy then feed the anemone.

Never squirt/force/feed the mouth. It has to grab it, then slowly open its mouth and engulf the food, and bring it in.

Anemones never really need feeding, they get their strength from the light.

Be careful of what you are adding as to make sure it gets taken in. The zoo plankton wont really assist it in feeding. I would take a scallop/shrimp about the size of an eraser and drop it on its tentacles. It will grab it and pull it in, as it needs.

It is really a sting/capture response. Something touched its tentacle and it decided to sting it, grab it, immobilize it, and eat it.
