How "shrimp safe" are the Nanostreams?

Having lost a couple cleaner shrimp to a Maxi-jet powerhead over the last few months, I'm wondering if the same could happen with the Nanostreams (specifically the 6045). How "safe" are the Nanostreams with small fragile critters like shrimp?

what kind of shrimp are you talking about? anemone shrimp types?

out of all powerheads with the same gph rating, I think the nanostreams would be the best bet, since the intake grill looks very spread out compared to the small area on maxijets.

though i'd still be careful.

Skunk cleaner shrimp.

I'm hoping that because the Nano's have a large surface area for the intake, plus less pressure that they won't be as prone to killing a shrimp as my Maxi-jet's have been.

i had a serpent star go thru my 6025 today unharmed i could not beleive it i dont think shrimp will go thru unharmed but a healthy shrimp shouldent get stuck to it anythings possible
