How to add a group of new fish?

Looking for an opinion or two on how to add a group of new fish .....

I know all the tricks, have used/abused all of them myself, and settled on a home-made acclimation box (approx. 16x12x8, so on the larger side) for introducing new fish. Currently have a quartet of butteflyfish in QT and they will be a bit too much for the box, so how have folks added a group like this? Still try to use the box? Build a bigger box? Do 'em two at a time (assuming all make it through QT)? Just add all four to the tank after the light go out?

You have a situation on your hands... Any chance of moving the QT right up beside the DT? The fish in the DT will see the fish in the QT, and you can have at least some degree of how they will react...

In a perfect world, a larger acclimation box would be in order, as you have mentioned...

I have done the adding them after lights out method only if I'm off the next day, and can monitor the reaction to the new fish when the lights come back on...

Maybe I will just make a second acclimation box after all - got enough acrylic laying around
