How to add external pump to water container?

I want to add a external pump to my plastic water container to mix salt however I was wondering what's the best item to use to attach to the hole? Rubber gasket where I just put a pvc through it or a bulk head? Thanks

Bulkhead. The rubber gasket you're probably talking about is a Uniseal. They do work, but require a minimum wall thickness. Bulkheads are far more versatile.
