What is the easiest way to attach a mushroom to live rock? I really don't like the needle and thread approach as it's messy (slimy) and causes stress for both me and the coral.
I place them in a plastic dish (like a butter dish) that has caurse arogonite covering the bottom. To keep them from blowing out, I rubber band some of the tule stuff that my wife has over it. After a few weeks, they will attached to the gravel which I then superglue to my LR. Eventually they move off the gravel and onto the LR and spread from there.
I believe I will use a nylon filter media bag, put the shrooms on the rock, gently pull the bag over and draw it closed. This was suggested by another member on a different forum and it sounds like it would work well.
is it like pantyhose? the wedding mesh stuff is great for all kinds of thing with the tank im finding out. I wrapped some around my eggcrate to jump-proof the top of my 55g hehe
