How to catch fish?

So I added a couple fish to my 80gal which ended up having ICK and killing pretty much all my fish, yes I have learned my lessong about QTing fish. I have a blue tang and 2 green chromis I need to catch to put them in the QT tank. What's the best way of doing this in my 80gal with 110lbs of LR. Drain all the water? Try a fish trap? take out all my LR/coral and catch the fish? Honestly, I'd almost rather kill those fish then have to spend the hours in trying to catch them after all this frustration. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would say drain the water. You can drain, catch the fish and then refill the tank in a amtter of minutes and your corals should all be fine. Sponges, stars and clams might not fare as well though so maybe you can get a specimen conatiner for them if you wanna be careful. I tore my rocks apart to catch a fish and I really regret it especially since draining the water would have been so much easier and less diruptive.

Draining the tank method, if I dig a hole in the sand in one of the corners, the fish would end up there and not hiding behind the rocks?
