i have a condalactus that ate one of my fish so i want to take it back to the lfs but it is atached to a rock and i cant get it off are there any tips on getting it off

You can try touching the foot of the enemone with ice and it will let go. Thats what i did with my anemone when i switched tanks.

Ive also heard to blast it with a powerhead (on the foot) and it will let go and try to find a better place...

blast the foot of it with a powerhead, i did that last night with my condy and it started to move and thats when i started to take him off.

if its not on a really really rough rock and its foot is where you can get i usually just start at one edge and pick it off really really slowly like a 2-3 inch nem could take like 5-10 mins. i have also heard the ice trick but im i feel like thats a terrible idea since there supposed to be in a warm environement. of course it will move it doesnt like it but that doesnt mean its a good way to get them off.

i usually use a bowl/small bucket slightly smaller than the width of the rock the nem is on.

fill the bowl, turn the rock upside down so the body of the nem is in the bowl but the foot is exposed to air. it'll let go.
