How to fit the Nano WaveBox resonance in my tank

Hi all~

I bought the Nano Wavebox in my 100gal tank and installed the
left backwall. My tank has center overflow and the NWB is raised
about 2cm from water surface.

I tried several times but I can not make the high wave. I can only wave under 1cm.

There is no liverock in front of WB, Just some staghorns..

Could you tell me the proper voltage through 12~14 and right pulse?

In my tank, The 5cm wave can be possible.

I want to get the strong wave in my tank.

Thanks.

You need to set the power on MAX 24v. Turn the white knob counter clockwise and slowly turn it up. Make sure you give it time approx 1.5-2 mins in between adjustment....

Thanks Steve.

My tank width is 80cm, If the NWB is doing properly? Which inches I can expect?

Raising frequency means higher waves?

Not always, frequency is determined by tank length. The longer the tank the longer the pulse needs to be. Start with the fastest pulse and ever so slowly move to a longer pulse. If the pulse is too fast or too long but will result in no or little wave. Move the white knob in TINY increments. What is the length of the tank?

Hi~

I have 80cm cube tank and the height is 55cm (water height is 50cm)

In 24V, I tried several times. but I could get about 2cm
(under 1inch)wave. and the result was best when the white knob is smallest) and when I tried white knob go to the middle, noise and air bubble was made.

In 80cm length, which high wave I can make in maximum?

Thanks

When moving the white knob how far are you moving it each time? I describe it to most people that if you see it move when turning it you moved it too much at once.

I would think you could get a larger wave but would work best from corner to opposite corner. With the wavebox facing the front of the tank in a back corner.

Here is a video of one in a cube that Steve had helped tune that was 30inch x 30inch x 15inch so similar footprint tank but shallower only

Thanks... ^^

I understood what you wanna say

I will try again.

BTW

What a great video...~~

I have one more question.

How about the top edge of th wavebox height about the surface?

If the voltage and purse is same, 1cm above the surface and

2cm is different?

The wavebox manual said 2~3cm is initial height.

What is your length of the top edge of the box above the

water surface?
