How to get clowns to accept a tile under their anemone (with video of situation)

Here is the situation. I have a regularly spawning pair of pink skunks that we are trying to raise the fry from. Problem is that they are hosted by a large H. magnifica and they will not accept a tile or shell or anything on the rock they lay their eggs on

Video of the location and the female nixing the clam shell I tried.

We now use a fry catcher, but are finding that to be more difficult than just removing a tile. we are also facing issues of bristle worms eating the fry during the hatch and complications with flow and oxygenation during collection.

The clowns are consistently spawning on the third or fourth day after the hatch, so that doesn't give much time to get them used to something. So my question is, what can I do to get the clowns to accept a tile in their territory?

Maybe try gluing it down with CA (which you can break the bond, but hopefully the clowns can't), or Embryoguy's cable tie method?

you need more sleep mattt.! lol i use a snagger :)

i dont want credit for something i did not come up with :)

flighty, ive asked alot of people and it seems its just random luck if they do or do not. i was also hoping my pair would do it on a tile but ive been happy with my snagger. i do not have to worry about aeration or methyblue.

Not that Great, I just drill a hole in the tile. I actually also drilled some suction cup size holes in a square 6x6 tile, stuck three suction cups in the tree holes and stuck a Golf Tee in the hole from the back and broke it off. Then I just stick it to the glass in that corner. Works pretty good. Hope this helps...Carl
