How To Get New Clowns to Eat?

I got my first two false clowns about 4 days ago. They are pretty small so probably juvis. So far the only thing I have been successful in getting them to eat is Cyclopeeze. I have tried many other things--frozen brine, frozen mysis, frozen Formula 1, frozen Formula 2, Formula 1 pellets, Frozen Prime Reef, and Formula 1 flake. They always look interested in the food and many times will try it the first time and then spit it out. They seem to love the Cyclopeeze, though. What should I do? They shouldn't live on Cyclopeeze should they? How do I get them to eat other foods?
Thanks.

Keep em on the cyclopeeze for a couple days, try some garlic to entice them with the flake/pellets..

My two false perc's would only eat formula 1 pellets for the first week, then I got them on cyclopeeze and now they eat prime reef flakes, formula 2 flakes, home made frozen food as well..

I say give em cyclopeeze then dont feed for 1 day, then small amount of flake food, they will be hungry and eat it ...

worked for me anyways...

I had the same problem with my original true percs. I bought an additive called entice which makes the food more attractive to the fish. They immediately started eating and after 7 days I stopped using it. Good luck,

same here. mine was really suspicous of everything i gave it at first. was stuck on frozen mysis. after awhile she trusted me enough, she'll eat anything that flys from the turkey baster :)

soaking the food in garlic extract, like the kind kent makes for example, will usually get them to eat different foods, I think that's the main ingredient in "entice" :)

the main thing is that at least they're eating, so eventually you can switch them to other things with no problem, might just take a little while for them

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I will get some garlic additive to soak their food in and hopefully they will begin to eat a variety of foods soon.
