how to get the waves going?

right now i have one Tunze 6045 and a maxijet1200 in my 37g column tank (20''dx20''wx24''h). i will replace the maxijet1200 with another tunze 6045 soon, but i was wondering if there is anything that will help me create an oscillating water current. i am guessing this tank is too short for a wavebox? i'm just tired of seeing my corals sway the same way all the time like they are in a breeze. i want them to sway everywhich way, and that will also help add movement to every part of my tank and not just where the powerheads are aiming. when i get my tank setup at my new place when i move i will be going BB, so too much flow won't be an issue for me.

Yea, a wavebox would be overkill and you wouldn't even get waves do the tank only being 20'' long. In terms of "waves," The New Tunze 6055s which are about to be released will be able to connect to a single controller which will allow you to "pulse" the pumps.

no slakker im sure tahts not what he is looking for. i think hes looking for a wave change ever 5 seconds or so. to get the wave box effect in such a small tank.

id take to pwoerheads and aim them at each other and leave them on. try that on for size.

i have the hydor flo deflector on my mj1200 but i took it off cause it restricted the flow WAY too much in my 37. you couldn't even feel the current on the other side of the tank only 20'' away.

I would wait for the Tunze 6055 that is what I am doing already have the 6045 and am sure adding the 6055 will give me the wave affect in my 15g
