Thanks for the link. What about the color of their eyes, I have read that a true perculas eyes are brighter orange than an ocellaris. Is this also another way to tell the difference between the two?

That's the problem with ID'ing them. Whether you are counting spines or rays or eye color, there is variation in some individuals. Percs tend to cost more
