How to keep Carpet from Eating Fish???

I know, the age old question. I know there is no way to make certain a Carpet will not eat your fish, but what are some ideas to minimize the possibility. Is there any feeding routine that helps, like feeding the anenome first then while it is consuming feed the rest of the tank? How much of a benefit is added by having a clown hosting that is teritorial of the anenome (will it chase off any fish that may be in danger?) Thanks for sharing any experiences.

I have heard moon lights to help the fish stay away when lights go out. Other then that its a gamble if the fish go for food in the anemone well there you go lunch! It dont take much from the anemone to zap fish coral etc enough to kill it especially if the anemone is healthy!

Wish I knew what I am doing right with mine. Have 2 carpets ( haddoni ) in my tank, one for 6+ years, the other for just under a year. I don't have any moon lights. However there is some light spill over from my sump. (( sump is next to the tank )) Only have lost on fish, a yellow watchman goby and that was about 4 or 5 years ago.

Here is a sort of current picture, the BTA on the right side has since been sold. Need to update the picture, but things are pretty much the same.
