Every time I buy a bucket of salt when I first open it the salt is powder. The next time I do a water change the salt is one big block of salt. Is there any tricks to prevent the salt from clumping.
The instant ocean buckets have an o-ring that has always sealed up for me. As long as you keep the bucket closed, it stays powder from the start to the end of the bucket, IME. I alway make an effort to keep the bucket closed. Closing/resealing the bucket if I'm not going to remove more salt immediately. Not keeping the bucket open for more than a minute or two at a time. Is clumping make the salt bad?
i steal my wife's tupperware containers and measure out a 10g WC worth of salt in each one, i buy the red sea coral pro 55, so i get 5 containers and one short-changed WC![]()
