How to Mail Chaeto

Hello, what's the best way to mail cheato? Within a bag of saltwater or just in a ziplock with no water? Is this a stupid question?

where are you mailing it to?
I usually just add enough salt water to keep it moist or wet--but that depends on how long it is going to be in the mail

I'm mailing from Urbana, IL to a friend in DC priority mail (2-3 days). it'll be okay right with just a little water?

probably--just make sure there is enough water to keep the cheato that wet for three days

the reason why I want to keep track also is that I would like to mail some across the border to a couple of guys on RC

any one else know how long cheato could stay in a bag in the mail--a week or so??

ive sent some to caulerpra to europe once took 10 days to arrive.

i usually just wrap it in soaking wet paper towels and make sure to insulate the box really well to keep temperature swings to a minimum.

kordon breather bags are awesome for shipping plants alga etc. that will be in the bag for an extended amount of time.
