how to make a trap??????

I think I just found a neon green mantis shrimp in my tank how do i make a trap for it??

You can make a simple trap with a 20oz plastic bottle. Cut the bottle as indicated by the green line, flip the top over and slide it into the bottom part a half inch or so till it fits snugly. You can increase the effectiveness by painting your new trap black with Krylon Fusion. Punch a few small holes to keep it from trapping air, put some sand or small ruble in and sink it in your tank on it's side. You can tie a piece of fishing line to the trap at the open end and just pull it up and check it in the morning. You can also bait the trap with a small piece of fish or shrimp but only use a little as you do not want to contaminate your water

BTW: You can use the same sort of trap for smaller fish like damsels just leave it unpainted and be patient

Yep I used that to catch a dragon gobby and it worked wonderful.

This method worked great to get rid of the mantis in my tank.
