How to make the flow broader?

Hi,
I got New Tunze 6105, and the flow is directional. Is there a way to make the flow broader? thanks.

By pulsing the pump with a controller, fast and slow flow will collide and create a broader pulsed flow, you could change the outlet to a 6205.130, this will make the flow wider and shorter. I am not sure why the flow having a defined direction is a bad thing, typically that is the goal of a powerhead, to create a directional current. It should be sufficiently broad and without high pressure shearing forces as is. In most reef zones the flow would have at least as much force and direction.

thanks Roger. I just look that the directional flow and thought if it is broader will be perfect. I am not saying the directional is bad. What is 6205.130 ? wider and shorter is what I am targeting for, cause my tank is short.

The stock propeller housing at 18V has a flow pattern of about 7ft by 2ft. The 6205.130 will change that to about 4-5ft by 3ft.

Thanks Shawn, wow other $50 for the cover.
Roger, mine is running 24V one, no 18V. The corals 6 inches below don't seen to have movement until I set mine in pulse mode like Roger said about flow collision.
Thanks for the help.

A new 6105 should have an 18V jumper, there should have been a bag in the box the power supply came in of various jumpers, 24V will generally result in a lot of noise and could damage the pump long term, it is overdriving the pump. Older 6105's had a smaller prop and did use 24V, did you buy this pump new or used?
