how to mount a wavebox

I am having a tank built and want to but a wave box in... What do i need to get.

ie... magnets or suction cups

i have a canopy that will encase the top 2.25 inches of the tank. The tank is being made of 3/4 acrylic. Will the magnets be able to hold the waveboxin the correct place without hitting my canopy? or should i get the suction cups?

Suction cups alone will never hold a wavebox, I only suggest them because the wavebox has to be secured top and bottom and the top magnet holder will not work with most canopies. Since you are starting from scratch my advice is make the canopy about 3/4" longer then necessary so the mag holder will fit underneath the canopy. You ideally would use 2 6200.50, otherwise 1 6200.50 and 2 suction cups.

I used two sets of the tunze magnets... no issues whatsoever.
