How to move a Condi?

So I have a Condi and it is stinging my green birds nest. How can I go about moving him? Is it possible to just point a powerhead at him to "annoy" him into moving?

Yes, you can do that. It may move on it's own for you.

OR if you can get the rock out he is on.. take it out of the tank and hang him upside down over a bowl of water, he will fall off in 5-10 mins. Then put him back in tank.

Wish I could take the rock out, but it's a big rock that's cemented to all the other rock.

Seems like people usually complain about condys moving too much. The fact it's happily anchored is an indication it's healthy. I expect the powerhead trick will work, just make sure the powerhead intake has a sponge or screen on it so the condy won't get sucked in when/if it moves.

I think another trick is to shade him, so he'll move into the light.

That might be my next plan of attack. He hasn't moved after 3 days of direct powerhead.

I've had some luck rubbing a nem's base with an ice cube and they let go. Freeze some "RODI ice cubes" if you don't want any tap water in your tank.
